Undftd x Nascar!?

So I have to admit I have never been super proud that Charlotte is home to Nascar. Like many of you I have looked at Nascar as a “good ole boy” sport that just seemed boring as hell to watch. Well, lately I’ve been meeting more and more guys that are changing my perspective. With younger drivers such as Denny Hamlin, Scott Speed and Kasey Kahne it’s not your father’s Nascar any more. NICHE friends Caleb and Jacob of MMI are also doing their best to spearhead a new movement in racing. They recently teamed up with Undftd to release a super limited tee not for sale, (thanks for mine Caleb!) These guys are also doing more big things involving Nascar and street culture but I can’t talk too much at the moment!

This past weekend the second race of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, only an hour outside of the UNDFTD La Brea Headquarters. To commemorate the race, UNDFTD along with Dr. Romanelli and driver management agency, MMI, created a limited run of long-sleeve tees. The tee was presented to Number 9 car driver, Kasey Kahne, right before he strapped into his race car. Stay tuned for more information regarding the release of this collaboration tee from UNDFTD. via UNDFTD Team Blog

I wrote about NASCAR not to long ago as well. And I used to feel the same way but when I look at the history of the brand I can’t help but be proud that they are based in the South. NASCAR is big business, Bobby. haha
